Work

Innovative brands deserve experiences worth remembering.

We build them.

How We Work

Oyacamp is a studio focused on immersive storytelling, branded activations, and interactive experiences. We also build tools that help innovative teams create them faster.

Our process is medium-agnostic but story-led. That means using XR, game engines, realtime pipelines, and other emerging technology only when they make the experience stronger, more intuitive, or more impactful.

We've collaborated with brands like Meta and Rivian, along with leading institutions like SFU and UBC. Our work has premiered at festivals including Tribeca and VIFF.

A Midnight Drive

A Midnight Drive was a halloween event hosted at Rivian Vancouver Space in 2024. Blending immersive content with real world haptics, attendees donned a VR headset while seated in a Rivian SUV, experiencing a spooky driving adventure. This VR experience was precisely mapped to the real-life Rivian R1S, allowing for a stronger feeling of immersion. If an attendee touched the dashboard in the experience, they touched it in real life.
